Shooting Stars Pay Courtesy Visit to the Olubadan-Designate

Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) paid a courtesy visit to the Olubadan-designate, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja, to felicitate with him on his forthcoming ascension to the revered throne of Ibadanland.

Leading the delegation was the Executive Chairman, Honourable Taiwo Lekan Salami, alongside the Chief Operating Officer, Bunmi Fadayomi, and the Sporting Director, Adepoju Tobi Samuel.

Symbol of Respect and Appreciation

As a mark of respect, the club presented the Olubadan-designate with the official home jersey and a special merchandise box. This gesture not only celebrated his long-standing support for Shooting Stars but also reflected the club’s gratitude for his unwavering encouragement over the years.

Seeking Royal Blessings

During the visit, the management sought the royal blessings of Oba Ladoja, whom they described as a staunch supporter of the club and a proud symbol of Ibadan’s heritage. Speaking on behalf of 3SC, Hon. Taiwo Lekan-Salami expressed heartfelt appreciation for the Olubadan-designate’s steadfast commitment to the growth of football in Ibadan and Oyo State.

He further reaffirmed the club’s commitment to upholding the values of excellence, unity, and community pride—qualities that Shooting Stars represents both on and off the pitch.

Olubadan-Designate’s Assurance

In his remarks, Oba Ladoja commended the club’s continuous efforts, assuring the management of his unwavering support. He also extended his best wishes to the Oluyole Warriors in their NPFL campaign and promised to honour the club by attending one of its matches as a special guest.
